Can I record a voiceover for my video ad?
Yes, you can use our easy browser-based voiceover recording feature to record a voiceover. When you use this feature, you will see the video portion of your ad so you can time your speech to key moments in the video ad. We recommend starting with a script and practicing a few times before recording. You can erase and re-record your voiceover at anytime.
Can I upload an audio file, such as a radio ad, as a voiceover?
Yes, SpotMixer makes it easy to repurpose existing media, whether they be photos, video, audio or voiceover tracks. Many of our customers use existing radio spots as the voiceover for their video ad. You can simply upload an MP3, M4A, or WAV version of your existing audio file by selecting "Upload a Voiceover Track" on the Music & Voiceover page during creation of your video ad.
Music in my Video Ads
Can I change the music in my Video Ad?
Yes. You can easily change the music in your Video Ad on the Music & Voiceover page. Select "Change Song" in the Adjust Music section. You can choose commercially licensed songs from our music library. You can also upload your own music files (subject to Terms of Use).
What formats of music files can I upload into my SpotMixer account?
The following are our supported music file formats: MP3 (.mp3), unprotected AAC (.m4a) and WAV(.wav).
My music isn't a supported format. How do I convert it?
You will need a program that can convert music files. Generally, if you have a program to manage music files on your computer you can use this same program to convert your files to the correct format.
Why can't I get my music file to upload?
First, check to make sure that you're uploading music through the
Music & Voiceover page in the video ad creation process. Also, check to make sure that the file format is MP3 (.mp3), unprotected AAC (.m4a) , or WAV(.wav). If you bought the song directly from the iTunes Music Store, Amazon.com MP3 Downloads, or other similar online services, it may be protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology. SpotMixer does not accept songs with DRM technology. If you have imported music from an audio CD into your iTunes music library, you should be able to upload it in the MP3 or AAC formats. If none of these cases apply to you, please contact us at Help@SpotMixer.com for further assistance.
